ACA will remain the ‘source of truth’ for Rochester’s permitting project information, document management and document versioning, as well as for creating and managing plan review assignments and tasks. The streamlined connectivity the City will receive between Accela and EPR provides them and their constituents with the best of breed solution to improve staff efficiency and plan review turnaround time.
e-PlanSoft’s Scout PDF Inspector tool is also being deployed into ACA and the Accela back office to assist in evaluating incoming plans. Scout can identify some known issues in the PDF files being submitted, prior to assignments being created.
Of notable importance is the strategic relationship with e-PlanSoft and Velosimo. e-PlanSoft is the exclusive reseller for Velosimo for Accela clients, which allows the companies to come together, leveraging shared strengths, to provide value added, custom solutions for end users.
