Irvine, CA – September 28, 2016  Arapahoe County, CO is currently implementing e-PlanCheck integrated with their deployment of the Accela Civic Platform to provide a comprehensive electronic plan review solution. The forthcoming roll out of out e-PlanSoft’s web-based plan review product, e-PlanCheck, will modernize operations and refine the county’s capacity to serve its citizens by providing them the opportunity to easily submit plans sets and supporting documents electronically, expediting the permit application process.

Applicants to Arapahoe County’s Building and Planning Department will benefit from the County’s adoption of e-PlanCheck with reduced printing, and shipping costs of traditional paper plans as well as reduced turn around times for plan reviews. Together, e-PlanCheck and Accela will allow for a more streamlined and automated workflow – connecting multiple departments involved in permitting, business licensing and city safety. Plan Checkers will be able to perform concurrent reviews, track documents versions, comments, and markups, and create corrections reports accurately and securely. Plan Check applicants, via Accela Citizen Access, the County’s current public facing portal, will save time with the ability to submit and review permit information, applications, and project documents, all from their home or office, with no travel required.

Integrated electronic plan review provided by e-PlanCheck and the Accela Civic Platform far exceeds the functionality of a typical mark up tool. EPC’s web-based platform includes Overlay and Side-by-Side Comparison tools, one-click Correction Reports, a Searchable Standard Comments Library, and support for Concurrent Reviews, all while enablign EPC Users to conveniently access the application from their browser anywhere, at any time.
